  2. Thanks for the blog. Very moving indeed. I have a severe eczema as well but under control with occasional flareups (without steroids). I am shocked to read that you are not using moisturizers. Moisturizing is an absolutely essential tool - particularly if there is an underlying staph infection. More so, you should be doing wet moisturizing - apply quality water-based moisturizer on WET skin (this is the exact opposite of what you are doing - keeping it dry if there is an infection). Eczema is a disease of skin water barrier, we need to put that water back in. Staph and inflammation make skin even more dry. Best luck!
